TurboCalendar Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026

Thank you for using TurboCalendar.

This extension follows one simple principle:

Your data belongs only to you, and stays entirely on your device.

What is TurboCalendar?

TurboCalendar is a Chrome browser extension. It adds a button to your browser's toolbar (to the right of the address bar). Clicking the button opens a small popup that shows calendar information.

Key features include:

  • A clean, at-a-glance calendar view
  • Support for 11 languages
  • Lunar calendar (traditional Chinese calendar) display

What Information Do We Collect?

TurboCalendar does not collect, upload, store, analyze, or sell any personal information.

Specifically, TurboCalendar does NOT:

  • Collect browsing history
  • Collect search queries
  • Collect personally identifiable information
  • Collect usage statistics
  • Use analytics or tracking scripts
  • Use ad SDKs
  • Use user fingerprinting
  • Upload any data to the developer's servers
  • Require account registration

Local Data Storage

To provide its features, TurboCalendar saves a small amount of data in your browser's local storage.

For example:

  • Selected display language
  • Lunar calendar visibility preference
  • Theme and appearance settings
  • Other display preferences

This data is stored only on your device.

These settings are saved locally and are not synced to your browser account or to any cloud service.

Network Requests

TurboCalendar does not run any backend server.

All calendar calculations — including date logic and lunar calendar conversion — are performed entirely on your device, using data bundled within the extension.

TurboCalendar does not make network requests to transmit your data anywhere.

Data Sharing

Because TurboCalendar does not collect any user data, there is nothing to share, sell, or provide to third parties.

Permissions

TurboCalendar requests only the minimum permissions required for its core functionality.

These permissions are used solely to:

  • Display the toolbar button and popup
  • Save your local preferences

They are never used to track your behavior.

Children's Privacy

TurboCalendar does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Privacy Policy Updates

If this privacy policy changes in the future, the updated version will be published on this page.
